The best game he has played in a Carlton jumper. He was simply superb tonight. His inside work was sensational and hit a target almost every time. Broke packs in the middle which set up play as well. I had my doubts over him coming into the new season but he was arguably our best player tonight.

WeDidn't have a bad player on the field. Was really pleased with the performances of Warnock and Mclean as well. Henderson was quiet but tried hard and chased all night, kicked a great goal which was exciting!

We all know Richmond are a rabble but a large majority of their mistakes and turnovers were due to our intensity and pressure. If we can play with that intensity every week, we will surprise some teams.

Scotto was BOG for mine tonight. Great run and link work but i honestly can't remember seeing such an effective 'inside' performance from Heath before.:thumbsu:

I couldn't believe how many times he weaved through traffic. After he did it twice early on it seemed his confidence was sky high and attempted to, successfully i might add, do it everytime he was in a congested situation
 
He was great tonight. Shanked a few kicks but broke the lines heaps of times and is the experience player we need. Keep it up Scotty :)

He and Hoops were absolutely marvellous tonight.

Sat in front of people who usually bag the crap out of Hoops. Tonight he was saying "C'mon Hoops do something that I can bag you for" - same with Scotty.

Go you two guns.
 
Scotland has been in our top 5 players for the best part of last decade. He was one of the very few players who tried his guts out each and every week whilst we were getting smashed.

He played a good game last night, but not his best.
 
good game, inside work was great, broke the lines well, his delivery inside 50 was woeful however. Seriously, you cant have Scotland/Walker/Carrots being responsible for maybe 15/20% of our inside 50's, they are way less than 50/50 with regards to hitting a target.
I am so over walker and his shank when it counts, and tbh Scotlands floaty punt annoys the hell out of me.

Gutsy game, but he does a hell of a lot of good work then wastes it.
 
Top game from Scotto last night. He seemed to get it whenever he wanted to.
Went with a mate of mine (Pies supporter) & all he could say was he could not believe they've had a cr@p midfield for so long, yet saw fit to get rid of Scotland.
Well done Heath, top stuff.

Dead set champion, coming of the lines against the traffic and his feet work was worth while watching. He does look like he has added cm on the guns. Another player i've been pretty hard on was carrots, he's stopped give those hospital handballs and notice his feet work has really improved, his normally a player that tries to get around a player and gets caught but last night no such luck to our advantage:):thumbsu:

His best game in the navy blue is a very big call.

Scotty will be very important for us this year with his experience, he is very cool when we are under pressure and usually picks the right option.

Will be vital when we are challenged by the better teams this year.

Totally Agree :thumbsu:. He does shank the odd ball but he gives 100%, 99% of the time :o
 
I like Scotto but he has to give up kicking on his left foot. They look ok but he turns it over every time he goes on his left foot. Has done for years, cut off his left foot and he will be even better

Agree on Walker, his kicking can be very frustrating!

As for Carazzo I think that his passing into the 50 is OK on his right, it's mainly when he has to go on his left, like he had to do on a couple of occasions last night, that he struggles.
 
Scotland played in the middle instead of playing as a rebounder in the back. I think this is a fantastic move, Scotland is more suited playing as a midfielder.
