I'm sure Colbo, Heathcote and Elmore didnt think that they could win it this year. Thats the last I'll say on the subject. Just trolling Conrad

I think its fair to assume that most would have thought going into the season LBU would have given the flag a shake.
However don't think anyone could have imagined they would have such a large amount of long term lingering injuries to key players, with the finals game against Elmore apparently being the first time for a long time they didn't have 6 at least ,of their best 22 out.
From the outside looking in it appears they were never able to gain momentum, which may have proved detrimental !!

I never said the LBU culture was terrible. I said there is an issue there that when the senior team gets to big finals they go to water. Happened in the last league you were in too. And just reading the CVF review of the game your coach seems to be saying there is a cultural issue too (see below)..........or maybe Coach Pritchett is just trolling too Nesko!!! or else he agrees with me. Which is it?

The Cats coach who was a Premiership player with Echuca and Best & Fairest with the Cats in 2006 announced in wake of the loss that will retire from both playing and Coaching immediately.
Asked what he thought the Cats needed to take the next step he noted structurally a ruckman but culturally belief amongst the playing group that they could win a Premiership.

I hope so coz I am lookin forward to seeing and hearing the support that the Locky boys to give to their own boys in the 2's GF after the way the got behind my mob last year:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

ROOOOOOTTTTAAAA!!!! haha. hope we can have your presence come saturday? :D:D

This is ridiculous, why cant we get some talk of this weeks grand final, you know, the main game for the year? Who cares about Locky. At the end of the day, Elmore and locky are only one and two games better off than Huntly. Congrats to Cheezle, surprise winner for me but then again he was for me last year too.

And North were no games better off than Huntly , but you do make a good point a bit of a lack of talk about the big dance .
Anyone know if Mick Ring and Tom Tobin will be playing ? crowd fave's up our way .
Will Weeks kick a bag and take the medal ? I predict a 6 goal haul
Good luck to the Locky boy's in the 2's , Small and Teaser to turn it on !:thumbsu:

Watch 'im Bond, has been known to slip the old laxative in to the unsuspecting punters beer. Just what I've heard.:)
Quite true redman, but that bloke accused me of putting an eccy in his beer..not a laxative!! Had to tell him that he didn't need any drug interventions to be as stupid as he is!! And by the way, O'Bree put me up to the laxative too...!!!:D;) Seemed like a good idea at the time!!

J.Angove????
How many games did he play this year????
Would be lucky to be 10 would'nt it?

Was gunna say something similar. Although I didn't play in the league this year it would seem that Jim winning the b&f would be an indication that there are not too many blokes going well at the hillies. He didn't play a heap of games and is coming off a year out of the game. Good on him though

I'd neck myself if he won ours:D:D:D

Haha Dennis...we could only wish!

Well done Jimbo...as others have said, probably not his greatest year injury wise, but from what I heard it was a very even count with not many votes seperating the top 10.

And really, opinions from outside the White Hills Footy Club mean stuff all, as it is an award voted on by White Hills members in the end. They watch the team week in week out, not twice a year like some others.

It is at Huntly again this year Pinnacle

Thanks mate, how's Huntly's ground looking, it can get a bit rough in parts.

Is Huntly's big ground an advantage for Colbo concidering Colbo play on a big ground every 2nd game opposed to Heathcote that play on a smaller ground every 2nd week?
I would imagine Colbo would be more conditioned to run all game than Heathcote, if i recall last years granny at Huntly, Heathcote ran out of puff in last quarter yeah?

Think Heathcote may have a bit more trouble with the full ground press/zone this weekend on a bigger ground like they did successfully at LBU a few weeks back. Interesting to see how this game plays out, and will go out on a limb and say whoever wins the midfield and clearances will win the game ;)

I am going for colbo by 22 points
