Just registered to the site and looking forward to getting amongst the discussions. I'm from London in the United Kingdom and am keen to learn more about the Aussie Rules Football, so any info on this would be a great help to me.

Cheers :thumbsu:

I chose the Cats coz a few of my mates followed different teams. Although I might change my mind and start to follow Carlton as it seems their players are just like me ! Complete Drunk Fruit Cakes :)

Or Fremantle, maybe a good choice. They might be in Premiership Contention in 150+ years.

LOL , i dont know a lot about the AFL , but c'mon , Freemantle and what was it Hawthorn , dont make me laugh , those teams are like West Ham and Fulham of the Premiership Soccer in the UK, ie :- both winning nowt !

Cats will prolly win again , although St Kilda have a good chance after coming so close last season and lets not forget the Western Bulldogs, they could have a big Season and shock a few. :thumbsu:

Nope, Hawthorn are one of the most successful sides in the last half century:thumbsu:

Just had a look and your right, i see that Hawthorn were Premier winners back in 2008 making that their 10th Premiership in last 50 years. :thumbsu:

Well then, you had better look up Brissy Lions history....only your Cats have come close..

4 Grand Finals in row, winning 3 of them back to back..not a bad effort eh?:D

If you're staying in London dont pick anyone
stay undecided and once you see a team that entertains you, support them

Dont go for success, or you will look like a w***er jumping on a bandwagon

If you were in Australia though I would give other advice. I would say go with St Kilda/Adelaide (look like having a good short term future) or the Western Bulldogs/North melbourne (their supporters are poorer and the club shows that with less income, but the passion is still there, so you would help out a struggling financially club), West Sydney/Gold Coast (new clubs and you can support them from day 1)
