Help for a friend

A friend of mine is having a bit of bother. Basically she can't use IE but everything else works fine, like msn. This comes up:

Then it goes to a 'page not found' page, like when you try using IE without having the net connection. There's a hyperlink, and when she clicks the link it goes to some weird search site (ntsearch.com). I tried to go to that site myself and it didn't work.

I'm tipping a virus or trojan. Any ideas on how to sort it out?

If its redirecting your browser i am guessing spyware. Try getting Spybot - Search & Destroy and ad-aware.

Search for virus', spyware..

Maybe re-install Explorer (IE does tend to have a lot of bugs.)
