1. Either upgrade Thornton to Goddard (Have $330,800 to buy - so could be anyone under that price). and put proud back to the bench when chornes is back - but pretty much ensuring only one reserve playing

2. Upgrade Selwood to Ibbotson and wait the 6 weeks for thornton using ibbotson and proud as support. i'll then have 2 potential playing reserves.

3. Don't trade and ride my luck and hope cornes misses only 1 game?

I am not playing for overall position - just for my league - as their is cash in it. The downside is i have made 7 trades already - and wanted to hold off on trades until my backline was decimated.

Thornton to Goddard is a good trade. When Chad back leaves you with a solid backline that should score you consistent points for your league.
