Help me out Team BF

Now, I got this big satellite coming up (big for me anyway, the WPT Canadian Open kinda, worth $700 check other thread for info) and there about 8 different statellites I can choose from, all in the space of 2 weeks, now my decision is:

Enter a Tournament with less than average entrants, gives me a better chance of winning numbers wise, but also decreases the value of other prizes should I not win, i.e: 2nd and 3rd cash prizes.

Enter a Tournament with more than average entrants, this gives me a less chance of winning numbers wise, but also increases the value of other prizes should I win, i.e: 2nd and 3rd cash prizes.

All the tournaments are at surprisingly convenient Melbourne times so I can just check them basically at the last minute, and I get the feeling the first one in 2 weeks time will be pretty packed with people just wanting to jump on straight away, so what should it be guys?

I went for less. With a WPT entry for me it would be all or nothing.

Excellent question, I have no idea. Coz according to that theyre only paying out $19000, which is just under 28 players. Im assuming if they double that they'll give out two seats...and so on.

I don't think youre allowed to wear logos on the WPT? Even if I did Im assuming PR would be pimping me out in their gear....lets hope I find out.

I think you can wear logo's. I think the rule is they can't have a .com on the shirt and promote online gambling or something like that. However you can still have a shirt that says 'Full Tilt Poker' or whatever without the .com

I know with Poker Stars you've got no choice but to wear their logo.

Yeah, you pretty much can't advertise anything with .com. FTP advertises with .net (their play money site).

Well, (am I surprised?) PR have the dates scheduled (as above) as when they are SUPPOSED to be played out, but I've searched through all the PR tournament schedules and nothing appear on thoes dates, and Ive contacted PR and says they cant confirm the dates for these qualifiers...so my qualifying seems to be in relative limbo for now.

Alright I didnt want to post really in-tournament coz I may get distracted but **** it, Im playing it now and my table is ULTRA-tight. 36 runners, so 4 more than the 1st one...but watever, rail me if you desire, but I warn you I dont plan on going anywhere soon. 3000 starting stack and 20m blinds.

Edit: Relatively card-dead after half an hour, im 70 in the positive of my 3000 starting stack.

2nd Edit: Just lost 2/3 of my stack with (shudder) 'top top' to some guy who said he had quads, the board paired on the river and I folded. But I got 1350 at 15/30 blinds, just like starting a $5 tournament, just need to pick up some cards now.

3rd Edit: Welcome to DonkCity, this is your captain speaking...Im back to 1900 If anyobody just saw that play you will berate me Im sure, but I sucked out good and Im back in the game.

4th Edit: And naturally....I finally pick up a hand JJ, I reraise the raiser all in pre-flop....he hits an Ace on the river to out me, ****ing right. Just the most card-dead Ive been in 1.5 hours
