help please, im being driven mad!

my mum the DH installed some ****ty game today and now she has ****ed off and now that im on the net this stupid pop up box keeps coming up in the middle of the screen wanting me to register this game she installed.

so ive tried to delete it, without sucess. i went into control panel and unstalled it, and it deleted 'most' of it. meanwhile the box keeps coming up.

so i found the folder and looked in properties and discovered that its a 'read only' folder, which is why i couldnt delete it. so i took that bit off but it still won't delete. and when i go back into properties the read only thing is ticked again.

arrgh please tell me how to delete it, its driving me fricken crazy!!!

There is only one solution for this kind of thing KILL YOUR MOTHER.

Failing that, why don't you just register it with some dodgy details?

1) When exactly does it 'pop-up'... when you 1st startup, when you activate another application (like Internet Explorer or Word etc) or at some other time?

2) What options does it give you when it pops up... Register, Cancel etc?

i tried to do that jim, (not kill her!), but register, but it didnt work!

i also did that tiger, but it didnt work.

yeh it started doing it wen i went on the net kaysee.

but it now seems to have disappeared since i turned off the computer for the nite and started it up 2day.

but thanks a lot for your help guys!
(ha when i first posted i was actually looking to see if you lot were online!! but you's werent!!)
