Help Please

Please tell where you get those miniture little gifs that appear under your nickname over in the left hand corner. Also how do you get them so small? I have tried to get one and matter how hard I try it keeps coming up to large. I'd love to get one and I dont want to steal anyone elses but if anyone can tell me how to get one it would be much appreciated.

What you have to is resize then with a picture editing program to a 50 * 50 size then they will fit in the space you want.
