Help with Computer Shutting down.

Not BF I don't think but still help would be nice.....

For some reason my laptops sound automatically shuts off about 15min after I start it. Everything else is fine, it says it's working but it just randomly turns off but is fine again once you restart it. I can get round it as I've noticed if I have media player open it doesn't turn off but it's still rather annoying. Also, if it turns off and then I try to open media player, some error sign comes up saying it can't play the selected file but I don't think that's the problem as I can't play any sound whether it's online or just computer sounds

Find out what chipset your laptop uses and install the latest sound card drivers, it's possibly just that the driver has corrupted itself and crashes randomly.

Seems like it's most likely a driver issue. Right click my computer > properties > device manager > sound, video and game controllers > check if any are corrupt, need updating etc. You can also try disabling and re enabling, uninstalling/reinstalling*.

You could always call asus customer support, too.
