Henley High has more talent than any school in the state. They don't train together, they rarely play together and they still smash teams off the park. They had 7 key players missing against st. peters when they lost in the ko round due to bad timing and luck with injuries and I believe they would have buried them. They were all over SHC last year in the semi final of ko and were up by a few goals at half time. They then got injuries and ran out of a bench. They were over run and lost by 20 points. For people who never never train together or play together they are a great team and very dangerous. The amount of raw talent in that school is amazing. Apart from footy they clean up just about every sport award there is.

Henley High are nowhere near as good as you seem to think they are. Your full of excuses, you lost fair and square on both occassions. If henley had more talent than anyone else in the state they would have something to show for it...last time i checked SHC have dominated knock out footy for over a decade.

u must be smokin billies with ur henley mates... thats a load of ****... i remember a post nearly exactly like this, same time last year... if u blokes wer so gr8 (like mentioned above) u would hav sumthin to show for it, instead of just words and overconfidence... last year u guys wer bragging about how u wer guna win the state KO by ten goals an u lost to a champion school (SHC)... if uv got nothing to back it up, stop making outrageous claims

shc is a football school with hundreds of aspiring footballers attending from all over the state.
Henley High is a sports school, where only a selected number of sports students make the cut, when i went it was 50 spread across like 8 sports. something like 10 players selected for football each year, and most are from henley area anyway. shc no doubt get to pick from a wider crop of players.
come year 12 level, we'd struggle to have 50 players from year 10-12 to play footy at any level.
Maybe 10-12 are guns, playing, 19s ressies sanfl level, the rest amatuer league 18s or 16s
fact is we will never beat shc, but we can give them a run for their money, whereas they should be able to belt every school by 20 goals plus, with the amount of dedication they destirbute to football.

This thread was started because the bloke who made it said "Henley have more talent than any other school in the state". This was the topic that everyone was adressing, not who what school got to pick from and what school had more dedication. If you boys actually believed you had more talent than us then you would not be making excuses about who which school can pick from...and so on
