Pev stays. 1 year is about right.

I didn't mind Henno but he had to go because he just never gets on the field. Reynolds and Carts were predictable too. Jolley and O'Keefe as well, though i like the way Jolley went about it.

No mention of you know who.

Heres what they say in that website.

In further news at Windy Hill today, midfielder Damien Peverill has accepted a new one-year deal with the club. Peverill has played 115 games for the club after debuting in 2001 following his promotion from the rookie list.

Yeah i know mate, that's where i got it from. I was saying 1 year is about what he deserves at this stage after playing some good footy to end the year.

I was just adding to your sentence mate, no hard feelings. :)

Wouldv'e kept Carts for 1 more year. Peveril should of been put on the scrapheap but at least the club had the brains to only offer him a 1 yr deal. Bolton is not safe yet we still need to make 1 or 2 more delistings depending on Ramma's situation.

I understand that there is a party being thrown at Windy Hill sometime next week? Luckily we didnt need to hire an exterminator to get rid of the pest that is Aaron Henneman.

I'm happy that the club are starting to make some tough decisions. Hopefully we continue to do this in the future, some further tough calls to be made in 12 months time. As I keep saying, it will take a couple years to clean up the list, and with any luck, hopefully we play finals in 2009.

If bolts doesnt go and someone like loners does i will cry for at least 33 hours.

What a beautiful day...........about time Henno and Reynolds are gone. Just need Bolts to join them to get the trifecta......

Great news getting rid of the delisted. Shame about Jolley but in hindsight, with the potential new crop coming through in the draft...their development might have surpassed Ben in the long run. Im guessing theyve retained Bolton (in the interim) to concentrate on recruiting midfielders first and foremost before looking at the talls. Hence why Bolts remains...at least for now. Still early days yet.

finally my number 3 comes out of mothballs and well as i have said in other threads, jolley was not part of our future. Dont know how Bolton has survived, surely they have misprinted some info there. hopefully tomorrow there's a PS bolton gone too.

ive dreamt about this day, except it included bolton going aswell, but i guess i can settle with 3/4 for now.

I'm not gonna get the number 3 out until after the draft. Sheedy is quoted as saying Henno is someone you may think about redrafting so I'm not popping the champagne until the PSD is over.

ESSENDON yesterday delisted Joel Reynolds, Aaron Henneman and Tristan Cartledge but spared, yet again, the much maligned Mark Bolton.

With Dean Rioli retiring, Dean Solomon traded last week to Fremantle and Adam Ramanauskas unlikely to remain on the primary list as he recuperates from a recurrence of the cancer that first threatened his career in 2003, the Dons have paved the way for six changes. It is believed that if they make one more, the casualty is likely to be 19-year-old defender Austin Lucy.

If true that is a ****ing disgrace.

I don't see the point of cutting a 19yo who can improve in time, when we still have bolton on the senior list.

I'd be very disappointed if this were to happen

Henneman no suprise-due to injuries
Cartledge-He wont be missed
Jolley-I thought he wasnt to bad...wasnt shown enough footy though.
Reynolds-hmm/O'Keefe-more room.
Rama-Hope the AFL agree for him to be on rookie list.

Good to see changes though...
hopefully we get some good PSD!!

FIGHTBACK 07! :p

I agree.

Lucy might turn out to be rubbish but Bolton has already graduated with honours in that area.
