Eddie yesterday indicated that the club had been reliably informed from elements of sympathetic Collingwood supporters within the HerSun jornalistic community, that Collingwood is very much in the gun this year.
Apparently their not even waiting to see what transpires during the year but have already decided to slash and burn us in their newspaper columns.
Intrestingly today their is a spread on past recruiting mistakes and a damning analysis on out midfield group. Fair enough I guess in their biased styles they are allowed to write what they want but its always interesting to see T Shaw always available and ready to go on record with his assertions. No anti Malthouse bias there!!!
Mick Mcguane is the other who roasts us and in this instance I'll see Mickey as someone who was continuously over looked for assistants roles at the club and herein lies an opportunity to just remind the club he is around....
Shaw lost me a long time ago for his inability to demonstrate any sense of solidarity for the Collingwood footy club but Mickey , who is actually a little more passive in his remarking of the midfield group has dissapointed me a bit.
My theory is voice your opinions guys if you have the means to do it but geez we look like hams when its done publicly and 15 other clubs have the chance to poke fun at us. Its not what we should be about when things dont go as well as we like and inparticularly after round 1.....
