All players trained with the main group today with the exception of Dawes and TMac, who completed a number of running and agility drills away from the rest of the squad.
Did not see Frawley or Gillies either however I didn't get to training until almost 10.30 and could only stay for about an hour.
Had the opportunity to see both Collingwood and Richmond as well, we only really lack in disposal in comparison. The Melbourne Football Club is narrowing the gap, at least in relation to training standards.

Will Hogan be lining up to play at Casey this weekend? If there's a chance we'll be able to see a sneak peek of Clark and Hogan in the same forward line...

No, he is being given the week off. He is actually back in Perth for the week to see his family.

Ahh fair call. In any case looking forward to seeing him lining up for casey.

Me too, and I agree with your sentiments that it would have been good to see him line up alongside Clark and potentially even Dawes. But after a good pre-season I reckon it's a good reward to give him the week off back home with the family. He's earned it.

The fact that he's earned it is secondary... the kid has just turned 18, and his body is still growing most likely. He'll be carefully managed through the season to avoid chronic stress-type injuries down the track.

Totally agree that it's secondary, my comment was directed more at the fact he had earned it through such good performances. He was going home anyway but he can go home for a week with his chin up in the knowledge he can match it already in the AFL.
