Poor Ben Beams. He is only played for one quarter and gets dropped. He hardly had a chance to do anything.
I wasn't going to go tomorrow but I might reconsider so I can go and watch my favourite player in his comeback

What an absoloutely stupid move.

I heard Grgic played alright with Sandie last wk but dropping Beams is crazy. Beams was BOG in the Ansett Cup game Vs Fremantle and has barely had any game time at all since then. They stick him in the team last week, play him for 5mins, he smothers a ball and nearly saves the game for us then they drop him. Even if he is'nt gonna star they can at least give him a go. What have we got to lose?

Another useless time spent by Grgic on the bench.
They put him up back and he gives away goals, they put him in the mid-field he can't kick.
Sorry but he has had more than enough chances to prove himself and did NOTHING so i think its really up to Melbourne now to decided about his future.
But if i was in the Melbourne chairmen of selectors i know i would drop him in a blink of an eye... he is a waste of space on the ground, he is even a waste of space on the bench.

He wasn't that bad yestreday. Not a good start (eg the stuff up in the Cats goal square) but he kept Mitchell White fairly quiet.

You must be joking! no defender should let two goals slip past him. I know that Neita again made a stupid decision kicking or handballing across the face of goal but still it was a soft kick if he can't pick that up than for god's sake he shouldn't be playing football.
I don't know how many VFL games you've seen dees01 but have a look at players like Clarky, Lamb (we all know you like him) and even O'Brien.... they might not be as good as Whelan or Walshy but they are 100 times better than Grgic and they haven't been given a chance and that just sucks!
I say let Grgic go and bring some new guys into the side. Now that we have 4 games left its time to experiment with some fresh blood. Let people like Clarky and Lamb have a go coz surely they can't be as bad as Grgic, and the experience can't hurt either.

I have seen no VFL games but I know the potential players like Lamb have and I still think Grgic should go at the end of the year. Also generally if a defender lets go two goals, its not such a bad effort. Neitz was on Graham and he kicked 5!
I don't know about Clarke. I would not even know what he looks like!
But put it this way, Grgic's game yesterday was better than previous efforts!
