Not sure to be honest. We'll just make sure the thing is working before adding banners and extra functions.

The ignore function was an add-on to phpbb, which is why it dropped off when we had to reboot the forums a fortnight ago.

Pretty sure the new format will be similar to this one.

While there at it have they thought about giving hawkheadqarters a nice new face lift.

Which bit in particular? We are finding time is a bit limited for all of us these days, so additional contributors (particularly to write HHQ specific articles) would be most welcomed.

GOALden Hawk, don't apologise. I am sure everyone will cope for more than a few hours without HHQ. Quit the whingeing and demands on the admin. The supporters who run it actually have lives outside of trying to sift through the hundreds of posts put up. How about everyone try reading a good book or going outside for a bike ride of nice walk.

Secondly, thanks to the people behind the boards. Without their time and in some cases, financially, we wouldn't have such a wonderful forum.

Who are you again??? I asked a simple question and you're having a go at me. :confused:

I think you're a bit to high strung their darling.
 
Hey guys, just an update. The new forums have been set up, and the data transferred, but there is a problem in that the threads are appearing, but not the text inside them.

Hopefully this will be fixed up today.

Thanks Goalden hopefully it will be up and running some time soon .

As at 4.10 pm its not a goer yet.
