High resolution photos

Hey everyone

im a graphic designer and im designing my own 'golden era' A1 poster (HHHUUUUGE) to commemorate our 3 flags.

I need high res pics...anyone know where i could find some? Ill happily upload the poster in high res for cats fans to download, but i need some high quality pics first.....from all our premiership years, its looking mint at the moment! just need some nice imagery to work with.

As a regular desktop wallpaper maker I can tell you that finding his res images is near on impossible thanks to the tight control the AFL has on how images are presented on the web. The only way around it is to get your hands on some printed images and scan them.

A good way might be via the State Libary's online collection of footy records: http://digital.slv.vic.gov.au/R/?func=collections&collection_id=1081

Since 2003 they are not scanned but instead there as the original file type. I am sure there would be some decent images there without watermarks.

Australian Football Association of North America web site has many medium resolution pics that I've not seen elsewhere.

That's awesome. I'm looking through the Grand Final one and surely they are taking the piss - the first 20 pages are adverts! (I am OS and missed this years GF so this is my first time seeing it)

Don't know if they can be classified as high resolution but if you have an ipad you can get medium resolution photos from the grand final via photo galleries in the Herald Sun and Age apps. Just take a photo of your screen on each photo and you'll get a great collection there.

Hi guys... Trying to find the full collection of the 2013 player portraits... Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've found about 10... some are zoomed and cropped differently. Was hoping there would be a collection of every player, full size somewhere on the net...

EDIT: I've found the full set on AFLphotos.com.au, but they all have watermarks. If anyone points me in the direction of un-watermarked ones like those below, they win my everlasting gratitude.
