Credit where it's due. I've bagged the boy in the past, thought he looked scared on occasion, but yesterday he was superb. Best game I've seen him play, if he could use his body & contest like that every week it'd go a long way towards getting us into the 8.

The trick to Hille is not to bag him and then you get rewarded with performances like yesterday. Ruckmen hardly ever blitz at the start of their careers, they come along slowly but surely as they learn their craft.
What I`m giggling about is the fanfare that greeted Josh Fraser, let`s face it he was billed as the second coming, and here is our boy D.Hille, motoring along nicely, getting no wraps and probably at or above Fraser`s level and on a third of his money.
Magic.

Look at Matthew Allan and Luke Darcy as exmaples. They went along at the start of their careers and did nothing of any note. The all of a sudden, at the age of 25-26 (or thereabouts) BANG! They started to dominate and were Brownlow contenders. Happens with ruckman all the time. Hille won't hit his peak for another few years yet.

It's called trying!!!

I was at the Bendigo match and O'Keefe rucked really well against Allan. don;t be suprised after Hille's pathetic effort last week that he was told, "Play another bad game and O'Keefe will take your spot". now all he has to do is do it again this week, and the next and the next....
