Up the Hoods

Ive already ordered my DVD
Can't wait for the new album, it should be good

Going to be waiting a while, still atleast 5 months off.

Strange I would have thought after the success of their break through album, they would have been making every effort to follow it up sooner rather than later.

Why? They would be better making a quality album and releasing it when a quality album is complete. No point releasing a half assed album just so you can gain some record sales from being fresh in the mind of nova listener's.

true. I thought left foot, right foot was a great album, but because they wernt main stream yet anyone i lent it to didnt think much of it. They might be popular now but most people would rather they spent the time and effort putting together another good cd rather than cashing in. Be good to see them again at the big day out, this time getting a main stage appearance!

You gotta remember that they did alot of touring and then had to eventually go back to work. They didn't exactly have a huge budget where they could take a recording studio with them everywhere they go. And I highly doubt they made enough money for them not to work when the fun was all over. These artists make there living working day jobs like the average person while writing and recording music in there spare time.

The Hoods make a $hitload from touring, hence why they're out there so often. Hell, they're gonna be at the Big Day Out again next year.

They were offered big bucks by Sony to switch labels but turned them down flat.

Not only because they wanted complete control over the music but also because it would mean that they would have to cut all their mates loose.

Three quality albums by a hip-hop artist is a rarity when so many are pretty much washed up by then.

Reckon the wait for their fourth album will be worth it.

Loving their latest album. Cant wait for the Restrung tour to come to Rod Laver Arena in April. Anyone else going?
