I think you, I, Blind Phew, Terry the three legged sheep dog - and even Ron Casey up in the Heavens (or wherever) - all know that the only reason North never finished lower than 12th is because there was (thankfully) only 12 teams for a LONG, LONG, LONG time. 20+ wooden jobbies for your mob (no pun intended) is it duder?

Still, I like the Adam Gilchrist, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid argument style - I for one can respect a guy (assuming your a bloke) that attempts to take on supporters of a team who have just won 29 out of 30 games contested for Y2K to go into the record book as statistically the greatest team ever over a season , and in the process have taken the club to the most flags ever on aggregate (as Dan has noted we win on a countback as Carlton has had 2 more opportunities in terms of seasons played).

So well done son.

Frankly I hope we won't have to prove (yet again) that we can win flags without the New King... but I've no doubt that if we have to we certainly will... besides Rama is the new Hird - surely you recognise the skill set...

that round one game will be very interesting, kangaroos without bell, how will they handle playing essendon after all the canings we have given them as well as that we will be unfurling our flag, could be a dirty night for the roos and a poor start to a poor season 2001
