History is here in the making and thats exactly what were doing!

Most people will spend their time dwelling over what could have been over the summer break but i think its time we take a look at what our club has actually done for us over the past decade.

As supporters we follow our teams to watch them win games and having gone over the stats of our first decade in the AFL, we are second to none as far as games won goes,

With the night premierships, the 2004 day premiership and the individual awards thrown into the mix, we have very little to be upset about, we have a great club, building on the old magpie tradition and creating a little of its own the best is yet to come and it could be next year!

Both our teams are better than any vic/wa team which is good to see...

What, equally as underachieving as the Swans and Dragons. The swans have 1 flag from almost as many wins as Port have in 11 years. If Someone had told me back in 1997 that we would have wont the most games in the competition to 2007, 1 premiership, 3 McClelland Trophys, 2 pre-season titles, 2 AFL rising Star awards with 14 nominations, 18 all Australian Selections, only missed the finals 4 times in 11 seasons and be in a very good chance of winning a second in the next 2-3 years then i would said yeah ill take that. This Football club is built on success and anyone that dosent know our history/our heritage has no idea how much a result like that grand final effort will burn at the heart of all who play and support this club. Anyone that has had their eyes open this year would know that we are a very young team and we have so much more improvement in our squad, if we find the right ingredients in this years off season we will, not might, we will get the chance to win our second Flag within 2-3 years if not next year.
