I surprisingly couldn't find a thread anywhere, am I missing something?

Any word on inductees and who the legend might be?

I was thinking Erin Phillips as a smokey for legend but then realised she hasn't been retired long enough to even be inducted as a regular HOF inductee.

Nick Reiwoldt is finally in the country to receive his HOF induction.

Ken Farmer is finally elevated to Legend status - 1400 goals in 220 matches. The Coventry of the Sanfl in the 30s.

I recall Neil Kerley saying he was the best footballer he ever saw. High praise.

Had not heard of Ken Farmer before tonight. Just looked up his wiki. Fair play - 11 seasons straight of 100+ goals, probably went all right!

Don't think your recollection is correct, Kerley wouldn've seen Farmer play.
In his Sheahan's interview with him though, Kerley did rate Barrie Robran just ahead of Malcom Blight.
maybe he saw Farmer play on tapes but he definitely mentioned Farmer's name when talking about the best ever players from SA.

Surprised this thread wasn’t going bigger.

Gary is a good pick. Hope that dermie gets the nod soon.

Eddie McGuire better end up in this ****ing HOF or there’s no point of having the thing.

I imagine there would be more protesting over McGuire than there is over GAS.

And GAS let a woman die.

He didnt even lose his licence, given it was low range.

But sure, a drink driving charge is about the same as watching someone die and doing nothing about it.
Yep ...i guess they draw the line somewhere......

One got drug possession charges, the other received drink driving charges. Hodge not impacting innocents with his drink driving is more about luck than intent.
