I agree with Lance, India is the place to go its simply magical.


Your wife wants culture, sights, views and other touristy things you cant go wrong its awesome, every city has so much too see and do in and you can do it at your own leisure. the things you see in India are things that you will probably never see anywhere else, i could recommend some good places to go and visit if you are interested

And for you the food is amazing, just make sure you have a guide book as they pick out what resturants its safe to eat at, this may sound dodgey but the ones you can eat out(which is most actually) are awesome, cheap food with big meals and you can get anything from traditional Indian cuisine to western food if your hearrt desires it.

India is definately a place where everyone should visit during there life time

France is awesome, so much to do , so much history and great places to visit (Eiffel Tower, Louvre) but the south of France is great. Great food and wine and really good weather.

Most of Europe is good, easy to get around on public transport and a lot to do. UK is a really nice place, a little cold but a lot of things to do there. But the food in UK is really just like ours here in Australia.[/QUOTE]

Vietnams food is as good if not better than most. Being a French Colony for so long their pastries are to die for aswell as their coffee. And being in Asia your $AUD will go alot further. Hoi-An is a must stop to get quality tailored suits cheap cheap.

Full of Richmond paraphernalia amongst other things, even Dale Weightman was in there before the 2004 GF. Probably a good place to avoid if you want the quintessential travel experience, but OK if you need a break from motorbikes and markets.

I think viet food is average. The only asian cuisines i rate are chinese and thai

France/Paris is very nice but I much preferred Italy/Milan. It's not far to lovely Lake Como and Turin from Milan as well. Had the absolute best time and best food in Italy, and the people are very friendly. Especially enjoyed some time on the Ligurian coast (Italian Riviera). Caught the train from Milan to Genoa then a bit further along the coast. Absolutely stunning.

I was supposed to go to Palau next week, but the airfares were ridiculous. Over 5 grand in fares alone for the 2 of us. So we're going to the Maldives instead. Should be nice.

I've never been to either but i have heard great things about Tahiti and Hawaii, i think they would make great holiday destinations.

My mate and his wife just got back from 6 weeks in Canada.

They said it was brilliant, they took the train trip across the country, food was great and plenty to see.
It is a very safe and friendly country according to them.
They also went into Alaska and down into Washington State.

They loved Canada
