WTF is up with the McGuane incident surely that rule should have been scrapped after they brought in the box of sherrins just sitting behind the goals, the AFL commitee is a f***** joke. Many of the 50 metre penalties given on Saturday were not even given for the reason the rule is in place. It is far too harsh, you have to be actually slung down after the tackle not just continue tackling because you don't realise they have disposed fo the ball.

Happy with the boys performance but it doesn't get us any closer to making finals. 0 points from Saturday same as last Thursday. Looking back on it now how is it any different.

We have progressed to be the type of team that shouldve beaten the topliners because they were having a day off. We didnt and now all we are is a team that topliners should beat even on their day off. BIG ****ING DEAL!!! 5 years of total and utter BS TW. ;)

I've read a few posts in here about this being an 'honorable loss' and how it was still disappointing that the Tigers only played 'One quarter of footy'.

That's bullshit. I re-watched the third quarter and while the tackling was better, there were too many easy missed shots on goal and not enough midfield pressure.

The clock got down to 7 minutes to go and the Tigers were still 18(ish) points down. The spent the last 5-7 minutes drawing level, then getting ahead by a point.

Technically they only played 5-10 (being generous) minutes of semi-decent football. All the media reports of a 'vastly improved Richmond scaring Geelong' are crap. Geelong idled a bit for a few minutes, then at the break the coach gave them all a reaming and they came out and ran all over us.

Geelong made Richmond look 'not totally shit' on the weekend. I really don't think that the Tigers played that much better than last weekend against Carlton who, if given a sniff, would have buried Geelong last weekend.

The highlight for me was Deledio who is all class and Richo who gives %150 and is the BEST mark in the competition. Schulzes mark was nice, but what else does he do? And were was Tuck all day? Was he even on the ground?

The term "Honourable Loss" has become a part of our culture for far too long and has been holding us back, Sheedys comments at the start of the season, I really think this will help lose this mentality.

As for the umpires, one of them works during the week next to where I work, seems like a nice enough bloke, but **** I was tempted to give him a spray as I drove past him as I was leaving work today. He wasn't the really shit bald "DVD" prick.
