He should NEVER play in a Navy Blue jumper ever again, NEVER.

If he is included this week, I will refuse to go to the game.

Ah well ... At least we got some value out of him as a pick 70 odd.

When did everyone start hating him? what happened that i missed?
what the hell is going on?

even betts has done more tackles than him EVEN FEV HAS that explains something if ur a midfielder ********** hopeless!
Houla is averaging more tackles than both Fev and Heath Scotland, who's also a midfielder. He's averaging just less than Betts (2.2) while in the last seven games, Houla has averaged over 3 tackles.

Although I'm not a fan...I wouldn't be trading him away too cheaply...I'd want a late 1st or early 2nd round draft pick for him.
If Fev and him work together, play him at forward pocket where he can tip toe around the opposition and kick a goal or pass to Fev. He played his best footy as a goal kicker...I'm not sure why Pagan insists playing people out of position to teach them a lesson. In the business world, you don't put good public speakers behind a desk and you don't put computer nerds in charge of sales. Play players to their strengths not their weaknesses. Sure playing players out of position COULD teach them a valuable lesson (most importantly don't pi%s off the coach) but it COULD shatter their confidence and self belief. Having said that we do have an oversupply of players suited to receiving roles so Pagan has been in a difficult position...but its seems pretty bloody obvious Houlihan is not suited to a position in the centre getting hard balls or as a defender.

i would keep him! sure he aint a hard player and dosnt go in hard but he is a highly skilled player and 99% of the time he hits his targets all the time and he does get alot of the ball!

No way! He is up there in the AFL for the most clangers. He turns the ball over all the time, one of the reasons is because he thinks he can thread an eye of a needle and is being to fancy.

You can't have seen Houla play much, hits the target 99% of the time ?
He OFTEN misses his target, resulting in usually costly turnovers...

You guys are probly right, and i probly did get my calculations wrong, but you also have got to remember houla plays his best footy on the half foward line, he has been playing down back for a while now!

also brendan fevola has said the best person that delivers the ball into the carlton foward line would be ryan houlahan!
