how bad are Telstra!

All over the news this morning how Telstra were so slack to not repair a families phone after they pleaded and pleaded they desperately needed it fixed because they had an accute Asmathic child in the house. After 10 days without a phone the child died after an attack. Mother had to run to a neighbours house to make a phone call to get an ambulance and doctors. The boy died in her arms!

Telstra, the absolute worst!

How hopeless and slack is that! They are currently suing Telstra and I think we will all be hearing more about this one.

I changed to Optus at least 2 years ago, because I wasn't happy with Telstra service. Nothing surprises me anout them!

No doubt we will. I've been told that you can't sue for consequential events such as this - can any of our budding lawyers confirm or deny this?

Thank goodness I have been with optus for the last 3 years wouldnt trust Telstra after this incident.

Oh BTW Telstra kep sending me a bill for 40c and state they will disconnecting the phone. I'd like to see that!

Cost them more money to send a stupid reminder notice each time.

Service doesn't matter - it's all about increasing the share price. Make it a real level playing field, sell off the rest of Telstra, make Optus, AAPT, Primus etc build their own exchanges and infrastructure instead of being able to skim the routes of their choice and see what service anyone in a population less than 60,000 gets then.

This story doesn't surprise me at all. When my parents moved a couple of years ago, my mum was sick at the time. And it took weeks for them to connect the phone.
And my mum had a nasty attack and needed urgent medical treatment. The phone still hadn't been connected. Fortunately my sister and her husband were in Geelong at the time and my brother-in-law had a mobile - otherwise Telstra would have had blood on their hands then like they do now.
