As all you boys start to round into summer, I am unfortunately heading into winter. No outside running, no training w/ the boys and no chances to hit up a field and work on some kicks.

Suffice to say, anyone have any advice on how to keep my skills up in the winter solo?

I would suggest having a footy in your hands as much as possible and do loads of ball handling drills. Also Make sure you keep fit as well, running on a treadmill, pushups etc. if you can't get your hands on a treadmill you could probably settle for a bike although that won't help your fitness as much. Hope I helped!

Gym and handball and kick to yourself 24/7 it worked for me.

Ive been having trouble in the wet weather.....
When its wet a normal player adjusts their grip of the footy when kicking, do AFL players keep the same grip all the time because they practiced so much or do they have to adjust it as well?
