Just watching the Blues V Brisbane game on Fox. I'm just amazed at how good the Blues midfield has become.

Judd, Gibbs, Murphy, Kruezer in the ruck plus others ,are pretty good to watch. And they have Stephens to come back into that line up.

Its like watching a different game to what I saw against North and The Pies.

It just makes me think how are we going to compete with these types of midfields, of a very high calibre?

I can't see us getting anywhere near The Blues when its out turn to play them. And I won't even mention our chances against the Cats or the Hawks.

Well I'm just hoping in three years time when Jones, McLean, Grimes, Morton and Blease are tearing teams apart the bottom ranked teams then will ask themselves the same question about us.

We have an excellent young midfield, we just need to let it mature.

If McLean, Moloney and Jones are still our best 3 midfielders in 3 years time, barring phenomenal improvement, we'll be stuffed. They are all good players but none of them great. McLean always had the potential to be great, and still does, but that ship is slowly sailing away. Moloney and Jones will always try hard and get a lot of the ball but won't be at the level of any of those mentioned Carlton midfielders (except maybe Stevens).

Morton should hopefully overtake them all and then some. Grimes, Blease and Strauss are all unproven.

Shame he didn't come to Melbourne, he has no idea what he is missing. We will become way better then the blues. If Judd was a true melbourne supporter on the inside from his childhood, something like training facilities should have no influence on his decision to go Melbourne. He dogged us big thime the c*nt. I hope he breaks his leg lol. If he really loved melbourne he woulda joined Melbourne regardless.
