we've got guys who are pulling out of contests, who are weak in 1 on 1's, appaling skills etc etc. watching these last few weeks, we can't even do the 1 percenters or easy things right. I actually think we've gone backwards this year.

there's is no structure up forward, and the forwards aren't providing options. It's as though our forwards just don't know how to play that part of the ground. they dont know how to lead or provide an option into space. is pathetic. But yes, our mids just bombing it in long is equally as pathetic.

It's really starting to look like Harvey has lost the playing group. there's no system, no structure and no one is doing even the little things or even shoing some guts.

With each passing week we are dishing out even more embarassing, shameful and weak performances. We were never going to challenge for the flag this year. But man in the second half of the season have we gone backwards. Our skills have been non AFL standard and this is very very hard to watch. I am actually scared to go to the Collingwood game on Friday now! We just have to right off the year and focus on next year.

I hope going on this game people don't start righting off Jayden Pitt. It's not his fault that stupid Harvey has him playing in the backline at a mere 70Kg's. But seriously why is Mcphee still getting a bloody game? The guy sucks and we can't have him and Crowley in the same team. I just hope that this year doesn't stall our efforts for next year. At least Zac Clarke is setting the house on fire! And Mundy started very well.


Anyone know if the Pav injury is the same one that has been associated with the rumour that he was going to miss the game?

The forward line is structured. There are two talls, two smalls. That is a modern forward line. They are getting some of the shittest delivery we've given in our years.

Yes, I have been to two games. Both games we won in Adelaide. We had a forward line structure identical to today's.

Our forwards role is to push up ground leaving space for them or someone else to run back into.

Anyone remember last year we had fans from other teams coming on here after a loss or win.
Telling us how much they enjoy the way freo is playing we are great to watch now.

Not getting that this year becuase we are crap to watch.

Yes but that fast break gameplan doesnt work if you have no defensive pressure around the ground.
It doesnt work if you arent prepared to switch the ball an take the game on.

We get the ball in backline an try to copy collingwood along the boundary line.
Ofcourse we have no tall marking forward options like them so it will not work.

Last year we would switch the play then look to attack through the corridor.

This year we kick it straight back where it came from then keep going down that line.

Send whoever needs surgery for it now, get em fresh for preseason. Most neutral pundits seem to think we did well to stay in the race as long as we have.

Of course we have no structure! Been moving half the team about plugging gaps all year. If we had a settled line up ok start to panic. But I think people here underestimate the impact of injuries in this sport.

Its not all doom and gloom. If we can actually get a half decent run with injuries, enabling us to settle blokes into roles, we will look a hell of a lot better next year.
