For those with an XBox, I was just wondering how good this game is. From what I can gather, it looks awesome. What are the pros and cons? What would you give it out of 10?

Great game, one of the best if not the best first person game on any system available.
If I was to give it a score out of 10 it would be 9.5. That's bearing in mind also that I've never given a game a perfect 10 out of 10 either.:)

Played it last night for the second time and it is a brilliant game.

Easily the best game I have played on any console thus far, I wish it was available on PS2.

Awesome game.......and to think by the time it's released on PC and other platforms we'll be getting stuck into Halo 2..........

Also looking forward to getting hold of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell when it's released next week.............

I doubt Halo will be transferred to other consoles and PC.

I will also be getting my hands on a copy of Splinter Cell. It looks awesome.

Halo....awesome game! Bought the Xbox pack on Saturday.

Bloody JSFR or whatever the hell it is, and Sega GT are pretty dodgy games.

But Halo makes it all worth while!

Did you play that other roller blading type one?

Doesn't really matter I don't think, even without those two games you would have been saving money because of the DVD remote and Halo in the pack.

Still a great deal.

HUH???????????????????

Jet Set Radio Future is one of the greatest games of all time!

Play it some more. If you can't get into the style and absolute coolness of this game, then you have no place playing videogames.

Sega GT 2002 I haven't played yet but I've heard that it's just ok.

But you don't call JSRF "dodgy" without an argument from me. :)

PC and Mac versions confirmed. See here. It's a good game, but it's weakness really is the XBox itself. Squashy screen multiplayer, console resolutions, and the two-baked-potatoes-like controller just don't do it justice. Bring on the PC release...as it was originally developed!!!

You're kidding right. JSRF is a bloody fantastic game, I'm glad gPhonque pointed me in the direction towards it.

I'm yet to get my X-Box (I need to hire a forklift before I can get that controller home) so I've only played patches of Halo. Even so, I know already how good it is.

*cough* *cough*

Geeze, what a nasty cough I've got. ;)

Yeah MP should be very very good. Any idea if it is exclusive to the GC or if it is coming to all consoles?

Halo 2 though will blow it away!

Well, each to their own I guess. I admit, I only played the first 4 or so levels, but the grinding aspect is pretty strange you must admit. up and over lamp posts, plus the fact that they will grind non stop until the end of the rail.....

Also the amount of air they get when jumping of rails, he almost starts flapping his arms and flying....

But yeah, I will play it some more, as with Sega GT. I'll get back to ya in a few weeks.

Are you talking about JSRF?

If so, your son, like you, has absolutely no idea about videogames.

(and if you're talking about Halo, then the same applies....)

Are you for real?

It's a game man.

You know, a videogame.

You must admit, the Aliens in Halo are pretty strange.....

Seriously, if you're for real with that statement above, then I have to ask you why you're playing videogames. That is honestly one of the most stupid things I've ever read......think about it.....

Good! :)

It's pretty sad that a game as unique and GOOD as JSRF can be forgotten by so many people, despite the fact that it has more of the old school gaming spirit in it than Halo could ever wish to have.

cheers, and let us (well, me) know how you go.
