How long should you wait......

Before you sleep with a new partner?? I am just wanting to gather some of the BF consensus, as I have just dipped my toe into the relationship pond after a very long time and want to see what the common thing is.

Me, I am probably more comfortable with around a fortnight of 'waiting' before jumping into bed, so I am not considered an easy shag nor a prude. Is this normal?

I love that 'catholic' thing, according to the church you should wait until you're married and not use contraception, go figure.

My last partner reckoned she was a catholic and used to have a shot at me if I was blasphemous, yet she jumped me after our second date and was bi-sexual. I doubt the Pope would approve of that.

My opinion is 'do as thou will'. What ever makes the two of you happy is cool as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. If you want to bonk on the first date it's fine as long as you're both into it, there's no set 'timeframe' for people to sleep together to make it acceptable. If a fortnight is what makes you feel comfortable, a fortnight is the answer.

For me i dont plan on having sex till im married, which of course means i have to find a female who has the same values. This is because i am a christian, but for those who arent it should just be when you both feel comfortable and ready.

PS Its only the catholic church that doesnt allow contraception to be used, the Protestant church condones the use of contraception, but prefers that married couples who use it are using it for family planning rather than to just have sex more often.

My current missus and I shagged on our first night. Although, we already sorta knew each other before that admittedly. I've had quite a bit of experience and I'm good on the "pick-up" circuit, so if a chick won't sleep with me immediately, I can usually find one that wants to root before the night is over.

I like sex, and I don't like waiting. That's just me, though, and I can understand how others are different. If she won't do me, I get very restless and agitated, and I am liable to cheat on her, so I make sure I ask her to know if I am going to get it or not. If not, it's out I go to get some.

Its not only the Catholic Church, it's most Christian religions, why do Protestants condone it for family planning? Isn't that still deciding God's will?!?!

If it is a tender and juicy piece of meat that will melt in your mouth (or lions) you are willing to wait a little longer knowing it is specail and you'll enjoy it.
