I think Roos knew Frawley was gone and played him forward so he could at least enjoy his last year at the dees. Couldn't find any link but I swear I remember roos saying this on the couch.
Probably true as well but I'm sure he said on the couch that he just wanted him to enjoy his footy. Either way he definitely knew he was gone.I always thought it was because Roos knew he wasn't in our long term plans so wanted to develop the back 6.
Pretty fun the only team we beat that year that wasn't a start-up had half the team juiced up on illegal peptides. But what a win it was!

I think the players are confused too, I think they want to move the ball more by hand, then you get guys like Oliver just booting it forward anyway. I think the players are too afraid to make a mistake so they revert to safe boring football. Can someone tell me what our game plan actually is? Goodwin keeps saying that we're learning a new way of playing. What is it? Is it chipping it around, slowly and boring before going forward? For what reason? To slow the game down? To set up better in defence? I don't get it.
