Mines unlimited apparently. When they claimed unlimited I very specifically called them to ask "Is it really unlimited, or are you just calling a large amount unlimited?"
They promised it was and so far (about a year), no issues.
No idea how much I use.

Because a shitload of companies had been doing that continuously around that time. Especially with regards to mobile plans. The ACCC had a big crackdown on it recentlyWhy would they say it's unlimited if it actually has a limit? That would be blatant false advertising, and, you know, illegal
Well no one needs unlimited, but when I got it I was living with 2 other people (and plans for a 3rd to move in shortly) and 3 of us have fairly large downloading habits (TV/movies especially) so it was just easier.Bet you're like most who don't even need an unlimited service, but think they do.
I'm amazed at how much spare time people must have to watch 100gig worth of d/l.
First month I downloaded 900gb. Online HQ streaming mainly from the UK and US along with redownloading a lot of what I lost a hard drive. Since then I've averaged about 250gbBecause a shitload of companies had been doing that continuously around that time. Especially with regards to mobile plans. Most unlimited packages have a limit where they just slow it down at.Why would they say it's unlimited if it actually has a limit? That would be blatant false advertising, and, you know, illegal.

Some kind of loophole. If that's the case, they're not unlimited, and shouldn't be advertised as such.
Some kind of loophole.
I agree, but there's probably some kind of loophole with the law their exploiting.Nah, just straight lies more like it.

Then these companies should be ashamed of themselves.Having worked in the industry, I know there isn't.
I believe this is what the ACCC were getting angry at.Then these companies should be ashamed of themselves.
200gb. Use about 40GB a month. Have no idea how others use so much, considering I'm on the net from when I get home until I go to bed. Torrents, I guess. I get about 1.5Mbps so I don't really download much. Realistically, I get about 100-200Kbps, which is actually ******* sad.
