How safe is Drum as coach of the Dockers, this week the whole situation that the dockers see themselves in will be discussed at board level. Will they choose to dump him or will he get the full support of the club.
Is it his fault or the players.
What do dockers supporters think. Regards tjrra

Who knows how safe he is it will depend on whether the WA Football Commissiopn still want him to keep his job. They are the fly in the ointment.Yhe Freo board will do whatever the commission tell them to do.My opinion is that he should stay.

well he may be safe but if he does loose his job he will accept it and move on because it may be the best thing to do
but it wont be the best thing to do if they replce him with another person that doesnt have any experience i say go after like some big name coach
i mean it is a great oppurtunity to bring a side from 16th to top 8 and if we get a big name coah that may just happen

I dont think that Drummie will get the sack the board of Freo don't strike me as the kind of people who would make a decision as big as that. The unknown quantity in all of this is the WAFC, who knows what they may deem needs to be done.

I don't think that Drummie should get the sack at this stage, the players have admitted that they are not listening to him its them that need to take a good look at themselves.

Thanks, anchor man, dockerbabe and Balip for your comments.
I don't think they will make any major change at this stage but I don't think Drum will be there next year.
Some of the eastern states media had him sacked last night and Dennis Pagan signed up.
Interesting times ahead.

Its pretty clear that Drummy is a goner, its just a matter of when. I think he might even go today. Drummy is the sort of bloke who would probably pull the pin himself if the club has lost faith in him.

Interesting that Ron Alexander was touted as a potential interim coach. Ron's a great bloke who taught at my highschool, I have a lot of respect for him, he was a bit unlucky at the eagles to get canned after the first year.

Regardless of what happens I think Drummy is a good bloke. Unfortunately, I think being a good bloke worked against him at freo.

Both Ross Glendinning and Ron Alexander have said they don't want to be an interim coach so I don't think they would do it. I don't think that the board should drop Drummie. Axing a coach mid season has not before had any positives come out of it. I say keep him for the rest of the season, and look for a new EXPERIENCED coach for next year, not a former/current assistant or WAFL coach who hasn't coached in the AFL before.
