Lets see how serious the Vics are going to be in regards to high contact to the head now a that a high profile player from a Vic club has been cited.
A couple of Vic could be on the mat Kelly from Geelong, who surely must go for at least four weeks.Crawford I am not sure about because i have not seen the incident, but knowing the Vics they will say that he did not make contact with the head only his neck.
Interesting times don't you agree!!!

Both of Crawford's incidents are worth atleast a fortnight. You can see on the video that he is chasing Bell to whack him which won't help his case.

Crawf will get off because Bell was provoking him. Dunn milked his one for all it's worth. We have got the footage.

MMMM obviously not very serious eh.
Crawford offered a week for two offences, one which nearly ripped Peter Bells head off.But then again the neck really, if you push the point, is not part of the head is it.It only holds it on.
And Kelly two weeks for knocking a bloke out with an elbow.
So must for same for all.

Matthew Stokes. Now go get in your waaambulance and die.

Nice. :D But yer, Matthew Stokes copped 4. Being pretty consistant across the board. Fremantle is not being unfairly targeted... Just so you know.

Stokes went up at the same time as Johnson, and both were the test cases for the new rules. I don't think Johnson got 4 weeks because he plays for Freo but because he was unlucky with the timing of his report. Casino did have a back or neck injury though so really Stokes deserved a week longer IMO.

Part of the problem is that the former players who sit on the tribunal change regularly. What I think is worth 4 weeks might only be 2 weeks to someone else, and vice versa. The same 4 former players should sit on the tribunal each week, that way they can refer back to what they gave for similar incidents in previous rounds and even previous seasons (lets try to get consistency from one week to another before we set the bar too high :o ).
