How to beat copy-control??

Is it possible to beat copy-control in order to properly copy a cd to the computer?

I've got a couple of them, however I primarily listen to music on the computer.

Doesn't this copy-control stuff really **** you off? Along with the 10 line paragraph on the case pleading me not to pirate the cd They could've just said 'Unauthorized copying of this cd is illegal'.

Anyway, is there a way?

I've heard that shift key trick works but I've never tried. No need. The cd copied perfectly with musicmatch, first time. Recognized the tracks & burnt without a hitch copy-controlled? yeah right!
