How to go about it ?

There is a post about winning or development. This is an extention of that. This question came to me as I was reading the posts. How/what do you all think is the best way to develop our team??

Just play guys in the positions we hope they will fill in our next premiership side, or in positions in which they will learn skills that will make them more versatile and/or more effective players.

that is the million dollar question, if anyone can answer that they should be coaching our club to a premiership in 5 years time.

Try to win every game and only play guys like Miller if the alternatives are not up to it.
Save experimenting for the preseason and when we are out of finals contention.
Don't tank.

Interestingly there seem to be a few who are critical of how RFC goes about it at times but few contributing to this question for what they consider the better way or alternatives. to me this rebuild is a difficult and probably most complex time a club could undertake particularly wit the range of ages we have had during te last 3 seasons. So many issues to consider & to all those, especially the coaches who have taken it on. ALL THE VERY BEST !! To me they really haven't put a foot wrong at this stage.

The issues is we have kids fighting for spots with kids, surrounded by slightly older kids fighting for spots with experienced players who are average footballers. If you can work that out then problem solved.

Pay that but, include coaches with I think 5 prem's between them & competing with 16 other clubs to help the team keep a bit of perspective on where they're at, & where they need to go.
