Now that lonnergan is delisted and may be picked up with our rockie selectionx, how many picks do we have in the draft? 4?
This assumes we do not delist anyone else

Begs the question, do we pick him first or last in the draft? If other clubs are going to do the right thing by Geelong and not draft him, perhaps Geelong should do the right thing by other clubs and pick him up with their first rookie pick.

If another club were to pick him up before us I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. He was well in contention to be delisted at the end of this season but after the courage he showed when he was injured, the least we could do for him is guarantee him that he would still be AFL listed. If another club want to do that, all well and good.

Are you kidding or what? Lonners wasn't even close to being delisted at the end of the year. he was our form player in the reserves and earned his spot in the seniors. as a KPP he was on an expected progress path and 07 would have always been looked at, and hoped to be his emerging year. The only reason he was rookied is due to potential psychological difficulties, not to mention his need to get back his physical conditioning.

More than likely he would've been delisted,unless he was still contracted [don't think he was].
