It looks ok but is Windows 7 mobile going to cut it?

I had my heart set on a Samsung Galaxy S and going android but they have been out of stock for three weeks and I'm not a patient person.

Yep. I've been calling around the Perth area with no luck.

No, if you are willing to go down the WM7 route, then it seems like a good choice.

What about the HTC Desire HD, that looks decent, if you want to go for Android.

I ended up getting an Aria cause I wanted something small. Something about that home screen on the trophy I don't like, seems messy. Also I wanted android

The Desire is out on Vodaphone (my prefered choice at the moment) on Nov 12. Same day as the new stock of Galaxy S's are in as well according to about 4 shops.

I guess for me its whether Windows Mobile 7 will be good enough so its more about the OS than the phone.

Thats what I'm leaning to. If windows mobile 7 had been out for a while and xbox live mobile was cranking (I'm a pretty big xbox 360 user) I think it might have been closer though.
