Tyson will be a big loss as he was just starting to fill the gap left by Kane Johnson.Lets hope or prey [if thats your scene] that Brent Reilly does not get home sick in 3 years.

If the price is right, he can go home anytime he wants.

He will be missed but if we can get something in return as good or better..which is possible....Ill be happy.

I wont miss his third man up approach to some boundary throw-ins.

2 hard players in two seasons ....gone

We are losing too many of our hard nosed players as you say, and Roo only has a few more seasons in him as well.

We need to get some toughness in the side, thats why I would not get rid of Massie, and hopefully we can pick up Waters.

As much as I love Tyson. If he wants to go home, if he isn't going to give 100% then I will go and pack his bags for him. We only want players who want to be here and want to play for us.

It does ******** me off that players come here and then turn around and leave after 5 or 6 years. Where is the commitment these days?

Yeah, that bloody disloyal Matthew Robran, that traitorous Darren Jarman and that rat Tony McGuinness. Where's the loyalty??

It works both ways, we win some and lose some, can't hold ita gainst a guy that gave us six years,he could have gone home after 2.

Stinger going should give Reilly more opportunities in the midfield & hopefully he will be able to take the next step.

Correct on all counts. It goes both ways. I never heard anyone complaining when we got the likes of Kym Koster (one of my all time fave crows), Jarman etc.. but a lot of whinge when someone decides to leave us

Well I am hoping and praying.

But I doubt he will eventually return to Melbourne. As has been said previously, hes enjoying it here. Why would someone buy a house and not want to stay.

Mind boggling

After listening to Brent Reilly talk to Gary Lyon on the national bank rising start presentation l would not be a bit surprised to see him ask for a trade back to a Melbourne club as early as the end of next season.

What other occupation forces a teenager to move out of home and sometimes to another state, voluntarily. The AFL have to Introduce a free agent system to accommodate players who are home sick. In time it will help all club, some more than others.

Players have every right to ask to be traded to the state they wish to play football in. That’s not being disloyal, everyone should have a choice where they work and who they work for.

Just stuff about how upset his mum was when he was drafted.and leaving family and friends behind.

But it was more the stuff he didn’t say, like how he wanted to play out his career with the AFC and how much he loved SA,just got the vibe that he wanted to return to Melbourne ASAP

I don't think buying house is a real factor. It just tells you he won't leave in the next couple of years. Lets not forget that Kane Johnson and Nick Stevens had houses in Adelaide but they left for Victoria.

I don't think he will leave yet but there is a fair chance he will leave when he is 24-26. Generally thats the age that a lot of interstate recruits leave for their home states.
