In hindsight should we have keep Saddington or Ackland?.
Without Jamo this week our backline will get exposed and because we dont have a good backup will loose our first game of the year.
Just think Ackland or Saddington could of done a stopping job on Lucas or LLoyd.
Might just turn out to be a big mistake to get rid of these 2 solid players.

I can't believe you brought that fella who plays for North Adelaide back onto this board. He couldn't fill in to play in the ruck what makes you think he could have played in one of the most important positions on the ground? I don't think he every played in the back half for one minute of his life.

Setanta, Austin and to a lesser extent Bannister can fill the void, no need for Saddington.
 
ackland?

my 14 year old brother who has never played footy could probably do a better job. and my little bro is on crutches too.
 
not sure this thread needs responding too, cept i felt the need to point out saddington actually retired (possibly forcebly so, but no one knows for sure) not delisted, so its a mute point really

This has to be a joke? :confused: How could anybody in there right mind want Ackland in our team, it was bad enough when he was on our list.

Oh I dunno, he did really well in that game for Brisbane last year, he was their best player, if he was still on our list, he could've given harry high pants and Lucas a chop out this week:p

I thought fishing at midnight last night would be a waste of time but it looks like i got about 20 bites and landed at least 10 fish.
Just needed a laugh as the footy show was a bit boring and the alcohol
was kicking in real well.
Iwas thinking about adding Livingston but that seemed a bit left field.

Ackland was not a stopper, just a lumbering undersized ruckman. Saddington couldn't play on anyone his height or taller than him. They both weren't very good and couldn't have held both players mentioned.
