Well just had a sneaky look at what's on the horizon next round (8) in the test domain and it looks like one that's going to shape the top 6. Some teams will be cemented favourites at its completion while others could be thrown back to the pack.

Here's the top 4:
Allies - 110
Queensland - 109
Bengal Tigers - 104
Crocodiles - 96

Round 8 matches.
Allies vs Crocs
QLD vs Tigers

Admittedly, the crocs are a match back in terms of points, but if they grab a win, they can really stamp themselves upon the competition.

My tips:
Allies and QLD.

I say this with no hint of arrogance but the Allies will finish the season as minor premiers.Even if we lose the lead for a round or 2 we will be proven over the course of a home & away season the number 1 side.

I fully expect Queensland to finish second.

Having said that these 2 upcoming matches, with us playing away to the Crocs & Queensland playing the Tigers, are 50/50 games.

You have to say that this comp is full of some of the same old rubbish, clubs who just define the terms ordinary & average, as well as a couple who are & always have been dire.

Thank God for the Allies & Queensland, every lover of the game should want these 2 to make the GF.

Bengal Tigers are my bet to throw a spanner in that works!

Bengal Tigers???

Anyone can trot together a few wins, it takes actual talent and skill to enter the same stratosphere as the elite few.

But this upcoming round could provide some upsets. Or it could provide some harsh reality checks for some young upstarts.

We'll see about that mate.

I seem to remember this guy saying something at the start of the season about us not being able to post until round 12. Well it is round 12 and we seem to still be posting :thumbsu:

Same thing will happen with winning, although I suppose when we win the flag it will be "Anyone can win the grand final, it takes actual talent and skill to back it up"

Have the little boys felt something drop in their pants??? It's cute how you think you can run your mouths with the big boys.

Just adorable.

I reckon it's still anybody's flag, barring perhaps one.

Well when it's 6 teams finals in a 10 team comp then everyone is in with a shout.

I assume that was the idea.

But the little flag, the minor premier, that one's a 2 horse race.

Just short of half way through the season, and only 1 win seperating the top 4. After the next round of tests we could see the top 4 turned upside down. Hardly reason to declare it a 2 horse race.

I see the trends, I see what other teams are doing.

If anyone apart from the Allies or Queensland finished top after the h/a season I'l eat my hat.
