It is remarkable what a little fire in the belly can do to change the fortunes of a team. The Ashes loss in England has been a catalyst for giving the Australian cricket team the one thing we have been missing since the glory days..
Hunger.
You can see it in every innings, every ball fielded, every delivery faced. Our blokes are hungry. They want more wickets, more runs, more wins.
That hunger for success is what is driving us at the moment and it is why we are playing such damn good cricket. A huge amount of credit has to go to Clarke and Boof for cultivating this feeling, not only in the Australian change rooms, but in the Australian cricketing public.
The players want more, we want more.
It is a beautiful thing.
