Apparently Bolton is also likely to miss, his proposed replacement.........Bullen

If Hunt can't get a game when our top 4 tall Defenders (arguably) (Fletcher, Wellman, Bolton, Henneman) are all out, then he will never get a game. Which raises the question, why is he even on our list?

As if they will get anything for him if he doesn't get a chance to show his worth. They must know something that we don't because it just doesnt add up.

Perhaps certain supporters pump his (Hunt's) tyres up too much on internet forums to suck everyone into believing that he is being descriminated against. They do this by overrating his performances for Bendigo.

I must admit, i haven't seen much of Hunt, but i do look at the paper to see how Bendigo went and who were amongst the best. I see Teddy a helluva lot (he deserves his chance), but i rarely see Hunt. That sounds to me like he is not pulling his weight.

Anyone though that maybe, just maybe, Hunt doesn't have the talent to make it?

Quite possible topdon, however the little I saw of him, he looked pretty good. My issue is more that we don't seem to be addresssing our key deficiencies. We are missing all of our tall / key defenders, so what do we do? We replace them with midfielders / flankers.

We will have very few options if Richo / Ottens / Shultz start tearing us apart. At least if Hunt was in the team we had another option.

Hunt may not be the answer. But we won't know that unless it is proven. We'll never know if he's worth anything as long as Henneman and Bradley keep getting games over him.

His form in the 2s has been as good as anyone else's, which admittedly isn't saying much.

I look at it this way - the guy is a key tall defender. We are missing three of those right now. Doesn't common sense suggest he gets a game purely on that?

That's true. But then explain Henno's position in the senior side. Most of the pro-Hunt camp don't neccesarily think he'll make it or be a star, they'd just prefer to see him ahead of Henno. Hunt shows far more for Bendigo then Henno did.
