Seems to me if a group of ppl wanna have abit of fun (IE.. My Topic) they get shot down, which I believe is wrong.

Now before some of the new ppl came along we had a topic which got over a 1000, which basicly was the same as the one me, Lioness and Dodongo put together and thought why not do it for old times and bring some of the new posters some life to the site and show them how much fun we use to have on bigfooty.

Jod, You said you had posted 20 something times in Dan's old topic..... "Dont Read This Topic "when I checked u had posted 130 times.

Ppl.... what is the matter with a little bit of fun? Come On, Lighten up dont take things so seriously.

If you don't want anything to do with the topic.... Simple, do what you would do with any other topic on BigFooty.... Don't read it, So hard?

I agree with Mags on this one

If you didnt wanna read it or you thought it was stupid you didnt have to look at it or even post on it like some of you did....just a tad hypocritical dont ya think.

I also thought it would be a good oppurtunity to get to know some of the BF posters a bit better :(

II was very dissapointed too see that topic banned!!!!!!:mad: And I say let us have our fun!! it wasn't insulting no one! in Fact everyone was saying good things about one another! And if it keeps getting Locked or deleted, peoples are gonna get angry!!!! like me!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: UNLOCK THE POST!!!!!!!
 
It was a social gathering.............about as useful as topics about how long we spend in the shower, and stuff like that!!!!!!!

To those who reckon it was just a grab for posts, you thought very wrong, read Mags's post again more carefully. It was a fun event that a LOT of people had fun posting to, it wasn't abusive, we did have a go at Dan25 yes but that's been going on for ages and he knows we are just kidding. :)

I know of a few people who REALLY didn't want to post there. So they didn't. Shame that other people felt the same but instead of ignoring, decided to spoil our fun. It's really sad.

Sounded like a bit of harmless fun. Bit like that chain story we had going, shame more people didn't get into the spirit of it, could've been a good laugh.

YES!!!!!!!! The chain story was brilliant!!!!!!! You me and hitman lol. Shame more people didn't join in that one, we should have another. :)
 
Mags - I know you think I complained and got it closed. It was not me for your information. :mad:

If you close it though, you might as well delete it...so those who got enormous post count boosts due to it loose them... :D

I just checked with my many Bigfooty sources, and I have found out who the culprit is.

Dan25 - please explain??????

Apparantly he wasn't too happy that he wasn't allowed to post on it. Also, he complained that it was just an obvious attempt for Mags to catch up to his post tally.
 
Well it was just a grab for posts thread but stuff like that should be locked up. Its a waste. I had nothing to do with it being locked up. Fred seemed to do it on his own accord and good on him.

And Mags did i really post 130 times on Dans old topic. LMAO!!! I didnt think i posted that many times. That was ages ago though, nowadays i have to act like a leader of BF so i dont get into **** like that.

I think all the guys who have been here a while or have big post counts should take it upon themselves to be leaders of some kind so that when newbies arrive they dont think were all idiots and leave.

Just my opinion.
 
To be honest, that post was driving me nuts.

But I took it in the spirit it was supposed to be, and just ignored it. I don't see any harm in it?
