Playing Jack up the ground is very clever. He is always going to take the number one defender, and if he drags them up the ground that leaves Ty with a lesser player against him and he can use his height to his advantagegood chance he might... I wish dimma would stop telling everyone how we are "gunna play jack up the ground" - i think its silly
I think we saw how this theory worked against Carlton in the elim final. I am a big rap for vickers in our forward line, but a fully fit jack should be coming out of the square if we want to play to our optimum level. He is a completely different beast to his cousin nick who has the right attributes to play up the ground. Jacks lack of pace means he does not. IMO it's stupid to use a dual Coleman medallist as a decoy.Playing Jack up the ground is very clever. He's not just a decoy though. He's also very creative in getting the ball and with his use. This he can use in any part of the ground.I think we saw how this theory worked against Carlton in the elim final. I don't see how we can fit McBean into our team atm without an injury or Ivan being restedIf McBean plays all 22 games which is very unlikely, he will be our third leading goal scorer next year.

I'd make another huge call and say it's Aaron Edwards who will kick more goals than Jack Riewoldt
58-33 and 65-48 would be on or better than AFL average I'd guess. 62-26 in 2011 would be the anomaly.Jack cant kick for shit now. Seriously, his conversion has almost been shot to shit in the past 2 years. If he cant nail the chances he gets, then sorry, others will get the opportunity to own the 30 metre arc.

I know very unlikely but if he did manage to play all 22 games, which most likely won't happen. I believe he would be able to like cameron this year only 19.
I really don't like our small forward stocks.
Not only is there a lack of talent, but even our best and most important small forwards have poor goal accuracy.
We work too hard for our goals and poor kicking makes it even worse.
