I keep getting pop ups

I'm currently on Firefox and i just got on my laptop today and I've started getting pop ups. Not from firefox, but from IE. Does anyone have any idea how to stop these? Thanks.

Well I just downloaded Spy bot search and destroy and it says I had a thing called QuickKeylogger which had 8 entries. Is that bad? How do i get rid of it?

Is that bad? By golly it is.
It basically logs and you're keystrokes and all application that you entered and sends the data to a server taht is accessed by someone in another country.

Google up "Quickkeylogger removal" Maybe a remedy can be found

I think you'll find it didn't.

Run Spybot Search and Destroy again. I think it'll pop up again.
But the thing is that I read that Keyloggers only happen when you manually install it.
Have you installed anything that looks sus?

Nah it didn't come up again thankfully. But all these ones about cookies came up. So I just deleted all my cookies on firefox and ran it again. And it was gone.

I don't think I've installed anything that looks sus. Btw, the pop ups have gone now.

Now I'm not getting popups. Adware seemed to do the job.
