Controversial I know, but a friend and I were discussing this over the weekend.

Is there anything more liberating than a respectful, fun, one night stand with someone you are clearly more attractive than? There's a laundry list of reasons why ugly people can be better in this situation, I'll start it off:

1. You can drop your guts mid root, not a hint of shame

When it comes to ONS men tend to lower their standards and women tend to raise theirs. Simple reason being that for men they are generally hard to come by for women easy. Hence the supply/demand discrepancy results in a market correction. i.e. If a man wants something that is harder to come by supply tends to lower. Similarly less women on average are up for a ONS then men thus will have their choice.

Relationships are different although not a clear reversal. Men tend to be less interested in pursuing a relationship then women (at least in the younger years) and as such will either increase their standards or fall into a relationship if a plethora of ONS is not on the table. Things such as money/status then tend to come into view also.

While my views can be very nontraditional and the above sounds ultra conservative, if you really sit back and look at it Australia in particular is still a pretty conservative sort of place and the old stereotypes aren't necessarily said for no reason.

On topic if it is just a ONS strictly then obviously if the first choice is unavailable then I'd be perfectly happy to partake with someone who I would not want a relationship with (and yeah looks and compatibility do form a part of it). Why the hell not? If all is consensual and both parties want the same thing what the hell else are you going to do that is so important/pressing that you can't spare a few hours for?

Right. A guy can generally committ to a girl that's his equal in looks, or if he's lucky better. For a ONS, the market is strongly against him so he's usually forced to date down.

I dunno why the standard sexual strategy for so many average guys is the ONS. Makes no sense. Barring stuff like extreme status or cash, realistic options for a 5/10 looking guy seeking a ONS is a 4/10 quality woman if he's lucky, usually worse. Not great.

And I think the OP is BS, no way you prefer them. Come on.

Can see your point in a different way.
When I was playing, before I was domesticated, I'd prefer the attractive one night stands instead of attempting to go for the drop-dead stunners. Reason being, my mates and I were worried that if the chick was too good looking, we'd end up cun7struck and subsequently end up "breaking up the band". We were having a much too good time to settle down that early in our lives.
Do not mistake my point for us being content with taking home bulldogs, at no stage did I ever stab a chick that I didn't consider attractive.
