We can win next week against Adelaide at AAMI.

After watching them JUST win against the Pies, I feel pretty good about it.

Longmuir and Hasleby came in at a great time. Grover might return next week too.

If we do lose, I hope it's by less than 30. Don't ask why because there's no reason.

I'm not expecting a win next week, it would be great but adelaide in adelaide is always a tough task and if the boys can keep it competitive I will be really proud of them regardless of the result.

Ditto. At the very least I reckon we will be very competitive. An upset is not out of the question, especially with Josh and Dessie back. Wonder how far away Grov's is ?

Adelaide by plenty, in fact if i was an Adelaide player i would be trying my absolute hardest to beat Freo just so i don't have to hear stupid song again...one time is bad enough.

We are a HUGE show next Sunday....

we were unlucky not to beat them earlier in year at Subi...we lost to them by 3 points @ Aami last year with Pavlich booting 8 goals, & we beat them the year prior at Aami.

Brett Burton - gone with a hammy...ditto Ben Hart. There still missing McLeod. Ricciuto & Hentschel don't look 100%.

We get back a fresh Headland & Josh Carr. Interesting to see who we drop? Gilmore - yes...but who else? Thornton played for South Freo, not sure how he went. Connolly said in press conference that Grover is playing for Subiaco next week...so a possible/probable inlcusion for the Saints match.

No Burton means Dodd free to tag a Goodwin.

Cook had a good game today but will we have to drop him?? along with Gilmore. Would be unfortunate but who else can we drop? I liked the move of swapping positions for Pav and Cook, with Cook starting at CHF and charging into the square. Laid a couple of telling bumps... but I think Adelaide will be awake to this tactic and won't be effective next week. There is just no-one else to drop.

Can't drop Webster who has had a good 3 weeks.

McManus has been poor last 2 weeks but his early season form will save him.

Schammer is looking good in the middle.

Black looking good across half back.

Peake has struggled a bit also though over the last 2 weeks, but usually provides us so much needed run.

I'd say you're a huge chance.

The Round 21 Derby is set to be the biggest game of the regular season.

Keep winning please :thumbsu:

I'd like to ruin the finals chances of St Kilda, Melbourne and Sydney without having to worry about making the finals and keeping Thompson on for another year.

Bad attitude but change is required.

Yours sincerely,

Honourary Docker.

Well, we have nothing to lose really in what will probably be the toughest away game for us this season. I would like to see us try the "handball frenzy" game theat WC used so effectively, but ultimately our midfield probably doesn't have the pace and endurance to apply it so well.

Option B could be too go in with a ridiculously physical game. The crows would have to be in danger of thinking ahead to the finals and not playing too desperate. Get Cooky running thru the centre square and applying some physical pressure again would be a good start.

I think we are definately in for a chance at winning this. It will be a tough game, but if we play even half as well as we did in the first quarter yesterday, we will win! That was probably the best I've seen the dockers play ever and it shows that we really do have the skill, talent and gameplan to win the big games. But the main problem with this is being able to play this well for a solid four quarters.

Hope we can beat em!!

You reckon he'll go if you guys don't make the finals?

Back on topic: I think we're a chance vs Adelaide, we've got them when they're vulnerable and we get Des and Josh back at the perfect time. We played the 1 on 1 style game against the Pies very well and this should create a bucketload of pressure on the Crows. We seem to have more options up forward than they do which should see us get over the line by a couple of goals I'm tipping! :)
