Haven't been around BF for long but that is the first time I've read a REALLY stupid post from you Jane. Usually you at least try to come across as intelligent.

Iraq's simply not enough, lets have a missile attack on Qatar Kill lots of innocent people who are doing their jobs.

Hmmm. The last time I watched Fox, Bill O"Reilly was excoriating some schmuck Saudi Arabian govt rep about their lack of democracy. Haven't caught that debate yet on the Al Jazeera website ... just alot of piteous hostages pleading for their lives followed by the snuff video.

Now the threatened is a woman. How long before these guys DO start beheading Iraqi children I wonder? (Canvassed this in an earlier thread as black joke. But now am starting to think this is where it might go).

And what about other stations repeating the content? A lot of tv stations have quite happily shown the Al Jazeera content, or the far more common web addresses. Just because Al Jazeera has shown it does not lessen in the slightest the moral quandries of other broadcasters to repeat the same images. By your argument we should be bombing everybody from the BBC to Channel nine (I'll quite happily support the later).
