Does anyone else listen to the radio during the game? I do it a bit these days.

Yep, I have 882 on whilst the guy next to me has 720 on. We can then compare the observations and special comments.

It really helps with the stats, sub activation, time clock and injury reports etc.

For those interested in listening to the game being called live whilst watching at the ground, do not buy a digital radio. The 5 second delay will ruin the game for you.

Just buy a standard AM radio with headphones.


Regarding the booing, I remember last year against the GWS when Kepler kicked those 5 behinds in a row in the 2nd quarter.

When he finally kicked a goal they gave him the Bronx Cheer and he responded accordingly when he came off for a rest.

Then when they started chipping it around late in the game the crowd went feral, as they all wanted a percentage boosting win.

That game nearly came back to haunt us as we were fighting for a spot in the 8 and our percentage was terrible at the time.

I expect it was the same people this time too, and they are probably the same people who booed Quentin Lynch and Rhys Palmer (last year) and gave Pav the Bronx Cheer in the Essendon game.

Message to those people, "Go back to supporting the Eagles."

We still made 4th spot with a 90 point win.

We're not 'moderating behaviours', we're commenting on people's knowledge of footy.

I don't think you can draw any conclusions about that though. Some of those spectators may actually know exactly what's going on but still be pissed off enough by it to boo.

Exactly right. I look at it this way. If someone chooses to be a dick. That's completely their right. But they're still a dick.
